What KDC Web Tools does

KDC Web Tools is a set of internal software tools that Kitcha Dental Clinic, a dental clinic in Chiang Mai, Thailand, runs on its own server to look after the clinic's own Google Ads account, Google Business Profile listing, website and internal files. It is not a public website, a mobile app or a product offered to other people or businesses.

The tools help the clinic to:

• Report on the clinic's own Google Ads campaigns, and create and update those campaigns from a plan the clinic owner has reviewed (Google Ads API).

• Keep the clinic's Google Business Profile listing accurate, read the reviews patients leave on it, post the clinic's replies, and read how many people find the listing on Google Search and Google Maps (Google Business Profile APIs).

• Report on how people find the clinic's website in Google Search and submit the website's sitemaps (Google Search Console API).

• Set up and publish the measurement tags on the clinic's website (Google Tag Manager API).

• Exchange internal files and reports with staff, and copy the website's daily backup to a test copy of the website (Google Drive API).

Every change the tools send to Google, such as a new campaign, a profile edit, a published tag or a review reply, is approved by the clinic owner first.

Who uses it

KDC Web Tools is used only by the clinic owner and staff authorised by the owner, to manage the clinic's own Google accounts. Staff may run the tools with the help of an AI assistant from a technology service provider acting on the clinic's behalf, always under the owner's approval.

Patients, website visitors and other members of the public do not sign in to the tools and are never asked to connect their Google accounts. There is no sign-up and no public login page, because the tools are not offered to anyone outside the clinic. This page and the privacy policy are public so that anyone can see what the tools do.

Google Ads API

The main use of KDC Web Tools is managing the clinic's own Google Ads account. The tools call the Google Ads API with the clinic's own developer token and a service account in the clinic's Google Cloud project, which has access only to the clinic's own Google Ads account. The clinic is an advertiser managing its own account; it does not manage advertising for anyone else.

• Read reports: campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, search terms and conversions, as totals.

• Create and update the clinic's own Search campaigns from a reviewed plan. Each change is first sent as a validation-only request, new campaigns are created paused, and nothing goes live without the clinic owner's explicit approval.

• The tools do not upload customer data and do not create remarketing or customer lists. Advertising data is not sold, and is shared only with the service providers described in the privacy policy.

Google sign-in and the permission we request

KDC Web Tools has one Google sign-in (OAuth) client, in the clinic's Google Cloud project. Only one Google account signs in to it: the clinic's own Google Workspace account, [email protected], which is a manager of the clinic's Business Profile.

We do not request any other permission through Google sign-in.

Other Google services

The other tools do not use Google sign-in. They use a service account that belongs to the clinic's Google Cloud project and has been given access only to the clinic's own accounts. Nobody is shown a Google consent screen for these services.

How we handle Google user data

• We use data from Google APIs only to run and improve the clinic's own advertising, Google listing and website, and to report on them inside the clinic.

• We do not sell it, use it to build advertising audiences or profiles of people, or use it to train AI models.

• KDC Web Tools's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
